This is undescribed species (possible a new species in the Philippines) under Begoniaceae family at the island of Dinagat. Niche at the limestone/rocky substrate near the cave usually. A vine/climbing type of Begonia.
This species under Begoniaceae was recorded to be Endangered and Endemic in the Philippines. This species prefers the areas with shady, proper moisture and in high organic soil. Located and encountered at the forest of Rosario, Bunawan, Agusan Del Sur and some part of Agusan del Norte.
Alocasia sanderiana is one member under the genus Alocasia and recorded to be critically endangered by the IUCN because of over harvesting in the forest. Common name of the species is Kris plant and said to be native in Osamis Occidental and Bukidnon Province, Philippines but this species are widespread throughout the terrestrial areas of Agusan del Norte and Agusan del Sur and could also be found/some part in Surigao del Norte.
A very native and rare plants species from the Family Orchidaceae was found and observed along Parang-Parang watershed, Surigao del Norte, Caraga Region, Mindanao Philippines between 300-400 masl. Ground Orchids at high moist area grown with other sapling stages of trees. Scientific name was Apostasia wallichii.
